Unfortunately, she deals with any "deprivation of affection" by binge eating. Even more unfortunately, the vast majority of our cats are "wasters," food must be available to them 24/7, there's no way to separate her from the food without caging her or keeping her locked in the bathroom [either option being cruel on a number of levels] -- and she can get anywhere the "skinny cats" can. Appearances are definitely deceiving as regards our beautiful and roly-poly puss. She's agile! |

| It's rare to find us both gone, and we've never left them entirely alone for more than a few hours, in ten years. We are, however, up and down and in and out, continually, leaving the poor, neglected dears to amuse themselves, quite often, for as long as four or five minutes at a time! This is their "all day, every day, you go away and you never come back" act... |
