We never meant to become "crazy cat people!" We simply couldn't see horribly tortured animals [we live near headquarters for Future Serial Killers of America] and do nothing, at all, and we have never received outside "help" -- other than having more tortured animals dumped on our doorstep. Over the past decade, we have been nickeled and dimed for more than a quarter of a million dollars, every penny coming from our jobs [which have nothing at all to do with the animals].
We were holding our own, despite several hurricanes...until the "tainted food crisis," which cost us many, many thousands of dollars we hadn't expected to need. Today, we find ourselves unable to make the mortgage payment and buy the food, litter, meds, cleaning supplies, etc., used daily. We're beyond desperate, and have no family or other possible resource. We need you! |
